Quality Specialist

Reports To: Quality Systems Manager

Position Summary:

The Quality Specialist will be responsible for supporting Quality Systems activities. Responsible for oversight of the document control and training processes, ensuring accurate records are properly maintained electronically. Assists in the development of Quality Management System documentation. Participates in other quality systems initiatives, as assigned.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Participate in the establishment and maintenance of Quality Management System documentation, including creating and assisting in the training of Quality System SOPs and work instructions.
  • Manage processing and maintenance of controlled documents and records.
  • Assist in the development and continuous improvement of the Training program, including assignment of required training and maintenance of training records.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned.

  • Familiarity with the requirements of ISO13485.
  • Must have basic computer skills and be proficient with MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to communicate effectively and appropriately with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented with an emphasis on accuracy.
  • Able to work well both independently and within a team.
  • Able to plan and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Must be able to read, write and speak English.

Education & Experience:

  • High school diploma with at least 2 years’ experience in a related position.
